I would like to display the full image, scaled down to fit in the label, with the aspect ratio preserved. Typically, the QImage class is used to load an image file, optionally manipulating the image data, before the QImage object is converted into a QPixmap to be shown on screen.Alternatively, if no manipulation is desired, the image file can be loaded directly into a QPixmap. toImage() where 'image' is the original image. Like this: QImage resultImg QPixmap::fromImage(image). The quick work-around which worked in my case was to convert QImage to QPixmap, scale and convert back then. The problem is, it seems like only a portion of my image is showing in the label. Black: Black indicates that the print size is not the best match for the images you have selected (or you have not selected any thumbnails in the thumbnail grid). Just sharing that you can set the white, black, shadow and highlight entries by using SHIFT-Double-Click on each of those words in the basic panel. I've also faced similar problem - QImage::scaled returned black images.
